Exploring Speech Clinic – Tweed Heads

A collaborative LEGO® group designed and facilitated by Empowered Kids Paediatric Occupational Therapist, Stacey Brown and Paediatric Speech Pathologist, Laura Hawkins from Exploring Speech. This engaging program supports children to build confidence, develop social communication skills, and strengthen teamwork through creative and purposeful play.

Working in small groups, participants will take on roles such as ‘engineer,’ ‘supplier,’ and ‘builder,’ learning to share ideas, listen to others, negotiate, problem-solve, and work together to bring their LEGO® creations to life. Opportunities for free-building and collaborative challenges encourage creativity, flexibility, and imaginative thinking.

This fun and supportive program provides a natural environment for children to develop communication, social interaction, emotional regulation, and cooperative play skills while connecting with peers who share their interests.

The cost of our programs is determined by the number of participants.
